Book Review: Confusingly Interesting or Interestingly Confused by Pravin R. Rathod

First Impression
Looking at the cover I can only say that it was good but not that much attractive. Blurb was apt but too short and due to so many grammatical errors and a usual, common love-story or to say love-stories it fails to impress me.
Review:
‘Confusingly Interesting or Interestingly Confused’ is the debut book of Mr. Pravin R. Rathod. It’s a story about three friends and their love life. The protagonist, Pratik was known as ‘Tik’ tells about the confusions about his career and love.
With so many love stories already in the market, it becomes a bit tough job to attract the readers to read your work. And with this kind of common and boring story plot and lack of editing it is near to impossible to bind the readers to the book till the end. Though the author tries to put some humor at some point of time but again due to the dull storyline it fails to keep the pace.
Positive:
·         A simple narrative style.
·         Use of humor at some point indeed tickles the funny bones.
Negative:
·         A common story-plot with a slow paced narration.
·         Lack of editing.
·         It fails to bind the readers to the story till the end.
Verdict:
Again a common love story with the same old school and college life drama. A book which doesn’t appeal so much. Though at times it actually tickles your funny bones. So if you want to read something related to love, friendship and humor you can go with it. Available at major e-commerce sites for Rs. 175+ delivery charges.
